Referring Attorney Information
Many of the cases we handle at Green, Waters Ogle and McCarter are referred to us by other attorneys. If your client has a personal injury matter that falls outside your scope of practice, or you are an out-of-state attorney with a client whose injuries took place in Tennessee, we welcome the opportunity to work with you. We proudly represent clients in Sevier County and throughout the state of Tennessee.
Attorneys across the country feel confident recommending our services to their clients because they know we have the knowledge, resources and experience to maximize the value of each case we handle.
Our Referral Process
We are committed to making each referral a smooth, positive and beneficial process for all parties involved. When we accept your referral, we prepare all the necessary documents to ensure everyone involved is informed and protected.
Our referral fees are substantial and in full accordance with Rule 1.5 (e) of the Tennessee Rules of Professional Conduct, which provides that:
a division of a fee between lawyers who are not in the same firm may be made only if: (1) the division is in proportion to the services performed by each lawyer or each lawyer assumes joint responsibility for the representation; (2) the client agrees to the arrangement, and the agreement is confirmed in writing; and (3) the total fee is reasonable.
Our relationships with referring attorneys are all unique with differing levels of involvement. We are flexible and let you choose how much or how little you want to be involved in the case. If you would like to discuss the details of a potential case referral or want to learn more about our referral process or fee structure, call Adrienne Ogle at 865-429-3600.
